Early Years children visited Stafford Castle as part of their topic this term.The visit involved a talk about castles and a workshop recreating the 100 year old story of Beowulf and the Dragon Deep. There was also role play and costumes, dragon egg hunting in the woodland and a dressing up creative activity. The day was split into bitesize chunks so there was time for plenty of play inbetween. Behaviour was excellent and a wonderful day of outdoor learning was had by all!
